WERK 01.200

This first ever Porsche Design proprietary movement with with Flyback function, load path-optimized movement bridge and COSC certification is the result of three years of development and state-of-the art manufacturing technologies. While a conventional chronograph records successive events through three consecutive actions on the pusher, the Werk 01.200 automates these three processes in rapid succession. In stopwatch mode, the timing of consecutive events is even more efficient.

ICONIC? CERTAINLY. EXCLUSIVE? UNDOUBTEDLY.

UNIQUE FUCHSFELGE WINDING ROTOR

A revolution: developed exclusively for PCA members, the one-of-a kind winding rotor echoes the Fuchsfelge forged alloy wheel belonging to the legendary Porsche 911 just like the sound of a flat-six engine. Introduced over 50 years ago for the Porsche 911, the Fuchsfelge is the most distinguished wheel for classic Porsche cars.

Like a wheel transfers force from the engine to the road, a timepiece’s rotor plays a central role in generating power.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Porsche Design follows a clear design philosophy: optimize function. Stick to the essentials. Challenge the familiar to continuously discover new and exceptional solutions. This is how unique design objects that move beyond the predictable, boast maximum performance and last a lifetime are created. It is this vision that Porsche Design founder Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche embraced when he created the legendary Porsche 911 in 1963. And it is the maxim that Porsche Design has lived since 1972.
